The 903 Volleyball Defensive Player of the Week, sponsored by The Monsour Law Firm, recognizes the athlete whose grit, quick reflexes, and relentless hustle keep the ball off the floor and the game alive. Whether it’s diving for impossible saves, reading the opponent’s attack, or making the big block at the net, this player sets the standard for defensive excellence in East Texas volleyball. Each week, Harlen the Sports Guy and Pigskin Bob spotlight the defender who makes the biggest impact for her team. At the end of the season, one of these standout defenders will receive a $1,005 college scholarship from The Monsour Law Firm in honor of her skill, determination, and commitment to the game.
